Double-sided fabric tape GT 703 strong/thin

The double-sided adhesive tape GT 703 is a very strong and weaker adhesive tape that is coated with two different adhesives. The double-sided tape from our brand GRIP Eventbasics impresses with good quality at a reasonable price.

The double-sided adhesive tape offers a shape-adaptable carrier - a fine-meshed, robust plastic fabric - which enables double-sided gluing with different adhesive strengths.

The side covered by a yellow, siliconized paper has an extra strong adhesive (adhesive strength on steel 12 N/cm) and is designed for laying floor coverings with hard-to-adhere backings as well as for fastening and assembly. The open side, i.e. the side that is glued to the substrate, has a weaker adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 3.6 N/cm). This adhesive has good reabsorption capacity, it holds securely and can be removed from many materials with almost no residue (approx. 4-5 days with little residue, depending on the surface).

Note: This double-sided adhesive tape is not suitable for sticking to sensitive surfaces such as natural stone, parquet floorboards made of wood, marble, etc. The double-sided adhesive tape could leave discoloration on these surfaces.

GT 703 in three widths: the right size for every application

19 mm width: ideal for light decoration, narrow edges of signs, for crafting, repairing and assembling, not suitable for Molton podium cladding etc.
38 mm width: for bonding individual carpet strips, e.g. on the catwalk or at trade fairs. The 38 mm wide GT 703 is sufficient to securely bond the carpet edges, but is unsuitable for heavy fastenings (e.g. Molton podium coverings).
50 mm width: If you want to bond several strips of carpet next to each other, we recommend the 50 mm wide GT 703. This allows the parallel carpet strips to be bonded butt-to-butt and are firmly fixed.

Notes on storing the tape

Store the double-sided tape in its packaged state until use. The tape should be stored at approx. 20°C and a relative humidity of up to one year. Protect your warehouse from moisture and direct sunlight.
